Look what I have made now

As promised, I have been working with my enameling techniques and today I used a rubber stamp images on my piece. This is my first attempt and what I learned was that the image is not well defined using this technique. I think it is supposed to look soft and airy , as that was how the image in the tutorial looked. I went ahead and finished my pieces to show what you can make with the disks. You will notice that the piece I made last week has a stone added to the front. I think that this really sets it off.

I thought I would share this recipe as I am sure many of you are at cottages or attending summer events like BBQ's. This is easy and a very tasty dish. I hope you enjoy.

For those of you who know about my passion for birds will understand why i found this stamp so charming. These are a set of note cards that I am selling here on my blog as well as at my Etsy store. I purchased the stamp at Cropcircles in Peterborough. I used soft pencil technique with mineral spirits. I used glitter in the center of the roses for interest. I then embossed a border onto designer paper. I used a die cut for my image and inked with a matching shade.

Working with Minatures

I have a lot of passions and miniatures happens to be one of them. I tend to bounce around from one craft media to another. It is not because I get bored, but rather there is too much I want to do and not enough time. This past week I have been dabbling with my miniatures and created these adorable little girl outfits and some hats. These will look great in a shop or adorning a room in a doll house or room box.

Altered Paint Brush

I have been very busy trying to get my Etsy store up, but I took a break and made this. This was way to much fun and I will attempt another one. The ideas just keep on coming. I want to try a hula girl, but not sure how I will approach this idea. Stay tuned.
